QMIC Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations at Made in Qatar Exhibition
Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC), a leading technology and innovation center with a focus on using R&D to develop & deploy intelligent solutions, participated in this year’s edition of the Made in Qatar Exhibition, which took place from 29th November to 2nd December at the Doha Exhibition & Conventions Center (DECC). QMIC showcased its latest groundbreaking innovations and solutions, on the road to enabling a smart, safe, and sustainable living.
Made in Qatar Exhibition served as a platform to highlight Qatar’s achievements and advancements across various sectors. As a pioneering entity in the realm of AI-powered platforms and solutions. QMIC showcased to its visitors state-of-the-art technologies and transformative solutions some of which have already been implemented into market and have been creating impact for years.
Drawing on its years of expertise in the local market, QMIC has established itself as a key player in the movement towards a knowledge-based economy in Qatar. These years of partnership with many important local stakeholders across various projects, developing and delivering a variety of platforms and solutions.
Visitors to the QMIC booth at the exhibition had the opportunity to experience firsthand a showcase of innovations and solutions across various domains such as: Transport & Infrastructure, Road Safety, Events & Tourism, Energy & Environment, and Smart Spaces. Each domain had its own dedicated station presenting details about the solutions & platforms within that domain as well as a snapshot of the most important partnerships, projects, and real-life impact of QMIC products in each area.

About QMIC:
The Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) is the first independent innovations center in the region with a focus on using R&D to develop and deploy Intelligent Mobility and Smart Cities platforms and technologies. QMIC’s main goal is to use locally engineered innovations & knowledge to enable creating home-grown technology industries that address national strategies and tackle regional emerging challenges. It was founded by Qatar University in 2009 and is registered and licensed to operate as a technology innovations center from the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP).
Since 2009, QMIC has been utilizing emerging technologies including Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Location-Awareness to deliver data-centric platforms and services.
